First of all we go through hassle free methods, which depends on your phone or may not work. Then we will cover some more specific tasks, which will work for someone to switch from iOS to Android.

Before you move anything, clean your phone a spring a little more: Why don’t want stuff you don’t want at all, such as unwanted photos or videos or contact details for people you don’t speak any more.

Smart switch iPhone to Android, All in One tool

If you don’t have a lot of tech savvy and knowledge in technical things and you have a Samsung phone, then you’re in luck. The Samsung Galaxy phone has an all-in-one tool called Smart Switch for switching from iPhone to Android which can transfer your photos ,videos, contacts, more too quickly and easily without any worry.

It works wirelessly with Wi-Fi or OTG (On the Go) cable.

  • Open iCloud in your iPhone also backup your data in the cloud.
  • Open the Smart Switch app on your gleaming Samsung Galaxy phone.
  • Please read and agree to any terms and conditions.
  • Tap Get Data, then select iPhone or iPad depends on your situation.
  • Instead tap Get data from iCloud, then log in to your iCloud account.
  • Once logged in, tap Import to begin your transfer.

Switch from Google Drive

Apple is famous for that integrated ecosystem, but if you’re switching to Android, you want to start using more Google services. Your Google Account has gradually come to serve as a passport to a wide range of services, and cross-platform synchronization has improved significantly in recent years. Once you totally complete this process, make sure that you disable iMessage and Facetime to avoid losing any future or upcoming messages and calls on your phone.

To switch iPhone to android from Google Drive backups follow the steps:

  • Install Google Drive on your smartphone.
  • Open drive and log into your Google Account (or create a new one if you don’t already have one)
  • Tap Settings, then Backup, and start backup (if you do not want to backup any particular type of data, such as your calendar, you can switch it off from here)
  • Once finished, sign into your Google Account on the phone and restore from the backup.

Transfer contacts from iPhone to android

The first thing you want to do when switching from iPhone to Android is to transfer your contacts. This process’ simplicity will depend highly on your previous practices for synchronizing contacts. Are you synchronizing your contacts to your Google Account? If yes, then getting your contacts on your brand new Android smartphone is a breeze! All you have to do is enter your Google account details. All your saved numbers will be downloaded automatically.

If you do not synchronize your contacts, however, you will have to work a bit more. The easiest way would probably be to use iCloud to get a .vcf file and import it to Android mobile phone.

  • On your iPhone, go to your Settings app and then your profile at the top.
  • Tap iCloud and toggle on Contacts. Your contacts will upload to Apple’s cloud services shortly.
  • Use a browser to go to iCloud.com and log in with your Apple ID.
  • Select Contacts and then click on the gear icon in the lower-left corner.
  • Click Select all.
  • Click the gear again and select Export vCard. When the .vcf file downloads, you can either import that file to your Google Contacts or straight to your phone.

Transfer contact manually

If you don’t through the Google application, you can export your contacts manually from your computer. Provided you use iCloud sync for your data — and you almost certainly do, as it is by default — you can log into iCloud.com and export data from there.

To export your contacts: Go to the Contacts section and look for the gear icon at the bottom left of your screen > Click on it > select all > Choose export vCard. This will download a vCard file to your computer.

Transfer photo from iPhone to android

Switching to Android is not such a terrible task that you will not have to run after them. Off course! Losing them while switching can be very bad. You can probably do things the old fashioned way and manually transfer files like a caveman.
